Michigan Cookie Cutter (State Shape), upper measures 5 x 2-1/2 inches and was admitted as the 26th state in 1837. The upper peninsula is often referred to as U.P. and is separated from the lower peninsula by the Straits of Mackinac. Michigan Cookie Cutter (State Shape), upper will be 1-1/8 inches deep after one side of the copper is tightly folded over for safety and stability.
