Mini cookie cutters are 1/2-inch deep after the top edge has been folded over for extra strength. These little cutters are made from solid copper and are strong enough to last for many years. For repeated bakery use, you might want to consider adding a custom cookie cutter handle. The mini handles are just big enough to hook a finger through and will ease hand strain.
